ShotByMi Awards 2021 first episode winner announcement

On 18th June, ShotByMi Awards 2021 first episode “colorful life” winner announcement was published. Mi Fans from all over the world submitted 164,000 entries for the contest, among them 11 photos won prizes. ShotByMi official team announced the final winner @Jelly Febrian who received the Grand Prize including $5,000 creative fund for Xiaomi’s official photography shooting program. Outstanding Prize winners were announced as well.

Photos submitted into the contest showcased participants’ personal visions of life by telling unique stories through the lense of a Xiaomi phone.

As A Winner Shot By Mi Awards 2021 :

I Love photography since I was in Junior high, My father tought me how to make a great picture at that moment, and he tought me how to use pocket cameras and DSLR cameras. During this pandemic, I tried to make photos with smartphones, I used Redmi 6 Pro, which is used by my mother. However, she died last year, maybe this is the sustenance of her smartphone to use it in a positive way.”

The story behind the photo:

The photo was taken when I came to a tourist village in Bogor, Indonesia, to a venue used to introduce Indonesia’s culture, especially that of West Java. There were people doing Silat, Making Umbrellas, Pottery, Drying cloth, and Making Fish Nets.

The ShotByMi contest commetee also announced Top 10 Outstanding Prize winners, thery are @Andi Nursam adiputra, @Yudy bento,@Pramit Das, @Tanjir Ahmed, @Daniel Blasius, @Jiantian Su, @Tanvir Ahmed BD,@Андрій, @Johan Villamizar Torres and @Przemek.

There were also 8 winners announced in the Most Popular Works category, they are @Jabir Jidan, @Marshal, @Pyae Phyo Aung, @Suhail, @Coffee, @Duoduo Xiang, @Shiwei Zhang, and @Hongsheng Wang.

New offline Xiaomi stores will be launched starting from next month in Russia, Colombia, Mexico, the United Kingdom, France, and Spain. A series of activities and workshops will be organized at those brand new Xiaomi stores, among them a photo exhibition with works from ShotByMi Awards participants. Other engaging activities like lucky draws and photoshoots will also be part of the events.
