There’s a new update available for OnePlus Watch and it brings several noteworthy additions. Chief among them is the new Spotify music mode which allows you to sink your playlist on the watch itself. vivo’s custom Imaging Chip V1 debuts after 24 months of development

We have been hearing reports about vivo launching its own ISP chip, and today we finally have an official confirmation from the company – the vivo Imaging Chip V1 is official, aiming to boost the photography credentials of the company’s smartphones.

The official press release did not reveal any technical information about the ISP but did state it is a milestone in the company’s inaugural breakthrough in independent R&D and chip design.

Xiaomi has officially announced the registration of its new company, Xiaomi EV Inc. As the name implies, it will be competing in the electric vehicles’ market. The news come shortly after the firm acquired DeepMotion, which works on self-driving technologies.

Snapdragon Sound technology is a thing that exist for some time now it is unveiling another impressive feature called aptX Lossless. As the name implies, the technology allows for lossless audio streaming over Bluetooth as long as the headphones and the streaming device support it.

The aptX Lossless feature isn’t just about quality streaming, it’s also pretty smart. It goes up to 16-bit and 44.1 kHz audio. It normally streams at 1Mbit/s but if the connection isn’t great or the audio file doesn’t have it, it can scale down to just 140 Kbits/s.

vivo X70 Pro revealed by certification listing: Exynos 1080 at the helm

The vivo X70 smartphones will arrive next Thursday, and we know the X70 Pro+ will come with a dedicated vivo V1 ISP and a Snapdragon 888+. At the same time, the slightly less powerful but still as impressive Pro variant appeared on TENAA with its full specs sheet.

According to the listing, the vivo X70 Pro will have a 2.8GHz CPU which might be the Snapdragon 888 but is more likely to be the Exynos 1080 – the same as the predecessor X60 Pro. The main difference will come from the camera setup, which now is said to have a 50MP main sensor.
